ABOUT MONGOLIAN VISA:

Visas are available from the Mongolian Embassy in your or your neighboring country. For all information related to consular matters, please contact the nearest diplomatic or consular mission of Mongolia by telephone or E-mail. We will supply an official confirmation letter (by email or post) for your visa application once you book a travel service with us.

For Mongolian Tourist or Business Visas for 30 days or less it is required to submit by mail or in person following documentation:

1. Passport with a validity date at least six months beyond the end of the applicants intended period of stay in Mongolia
2. Visa Application Form for Tourists with one passport size photo
3. Single entry visa fee is $55.00.
   Fees must be paid in US dollars by money order or cashiers check made payable to "The Embassy of Mongolia"
4. Prepaid, self-addressed return envelope. We recommend using a certified mail with tracking number, like DHL, Federal Express, Priority Mail, Express mail.

Normally visa is processed in 2 working days. However, please be advised that the regulations require up to one week for the processing.

How to get a Mongolian Visa support letter of invitation

Before you ask us for invitation letter, please check whether you need visas to Mongolia. According to some mutual governmental agreements, citizens of certain countries do not need visas to Mongolia. If you need an invitation, contact and give us your personal information through an email.

1. We fax the invitation back to you so that you can go to the Mongolian consulate or Embassy in your country
2. We apply for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mongolia and fax the invitation to the Mongolian consulate or Embassy in your country.
3. We arrange to have your visa at the airport upon your arrival in Mongolia. Alternatively, those who travel from countries with no Mongolian mission present, can get visa either from the Mongolian Embassy in Beijing or Moscow , or at the arrival points: Chingis Khaan International Airport in Ulaanbaatar , Dzamyn Uud Railway Station on southern border or Sukhbaatar Railway station on the northern border.
   
   NOTE: USA citizens can travel now to Mongolia without visa, as a respective agreement was signed in 2001.
