 ABOUT TRANSPORTATION:
Vehicles
We use different types of vehicles depending on the nature of tours, destination and final number of travellers.
- For jeep overland adventure tours we use Japanese 4WD vans and SUV's (Mitsubishi, Toyota, Nissan), which is the best available for its type
- A bus or mini-bus serves group tourists within Ulaanbaatar
- In some remote areas where we have to fly, we arrange local vehicles most of which are Russian 4WD jeeps or minivans.
- For sightseeing in Ulaanbaatar we use deluxe coaches, vans and sedans.
All cars will have necessary safety features and an experienced driver.
Flights
Sometimes we use domestic flights to reach province centers. Eznis Airways and Aero Mongolia are Mongolian domestic airlines which operate scheduled and charter domestic flights. Major domestic flight destinations include Dalanzadgad in South Gobi, Murun town in Huvsgul, Khovd town in the western Altai region and Choibalsan town in Dornod aimag. It should be noted that the luggage limit per person on internal flights is 10 kg per person. For every kg over 10 kg the airlines have a fee of USD1 per kg to the Gobi and Central Provinces and USD2 to the west.
Helicopters are also chartered for special tours to the remotest areas not reachable by airplane or jeep.
