Day 1. February 12, Ulaanbaatar
Upon arrival in Mongolia’s capital city, you will be transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a leisure program of sightseeing around the city including Sukhbaatar square and Zaisan Hill. Optional visit to Natural History Museum of Mongolia. Dinner at restaurant. Overnight in hotel. (L, D)

Day 2. February 13, Lunar New Year Festival
After breakfast, we will visit to Gandan Monastery, take part in morning chants and watch Religious tradition of holiday. Then drive to the countryside and visit a nomadic family and take part in their Lunar Year celebration. Drive back to UB and Overnight in hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 3. February 14, Terelj National Park
After breakfast at the tourist camp, we drive to Terelj National Park, one of the most visited sites near Ulaanbaatar. Terelj is set in the picturesque valley of the granite mountains and the beautiful Terelj river. Transfer to tourist ger camp. We will then visit the Turtle Rock and the Temple of Meditation. Hiking around. Overnight in ger camp. (B, L, D)

Day 4. February 15, Eagle Festival & Ulaanbaatar
Today we participate in the Golden Eagle Festival. Eagle trainers will gather to show their skills and their eagle’s abilities. The festival begins as the participants parade on horses with their eagles displaying their traditional Kazakh dress and their hunting outfit and accessories. Eagle trainers show their skills and their eagle’s hunting abilities. After lunch at the camp, drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Overnight in hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 5. February 16, Ulaanbaatar/Lake Huvsgul
Flight to Murun, the center of Huvsgul Province. Drive to Huvsgul Lake. After arrive at the camp, we drive across the lake on the ice, which may be up to two meters thick, to the area where local people hold their winter festival, two days of games and competitions held on the ice. Overnight in a ger camp. (B, L, D)

Day 6. February 17, Ice Festival
We will attend sacrificing shamanic ceremony for Mother Sea-Khuvsgul and King of Mountains-Khoridol Saridag. We will enjoy the horse sled race, ice sumo and many other games such as Mongolian traditional game “Ankle bone shooting”. Afternoon competition for driving by car holds on the ice and other optional activities are available. In the evening, our hosts will have an awards ceremony followed by a bonfire and concert. Overnight in ger camp. (B, L, D)

Day 7-8. February 18-19, Huvsgul lake
Spend full day at the lake. There different activities can be offered as horse riding and visiting nomadic family. Your guide will help you to book on your desired activities. Overnight in ger camp. (B, L, D)

Day 9. February 20, Huvsgul/Murun/Ulaanbaatar
In the morning, we drive to Murun to catch a flight back to Ulaanbaatar . Relax in hotel. Shopping for souvenirs and cashmere is optional. Farewell dinner. Overnight in hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 10. February 21, Departure
Transfer to airport for return flight. (B)
