Day 1. Ulaanbaatar
A professional Visit Mongolia team will meet you at the “Chinggis Khan” international airport and transfer to the one of the best quality hotels. After relax, we start our first day exploring Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. The Sukhbaatar square is the heart of Ulaanbaatar and famous for its surroundings including Parliament House, National Opera Theatre, Cultural Palace and House of City Council. We will then visit Gandan Monastery to experience influence of Buddhism in Mongolia and see outstanding and impressive 24m golden plated statue of Megjid Janraiseg Buddha. From here we will head to the Zaisan Hill which offers great views of the Ulaanbaatar. Optional visit to Natural History Museum of Mongolia. In the evening, you will attend a performance of traditional dancing and khoomii (Mongolian throat singing). Overnight in hotel. (D)

Day 2. Khustai Nuruu National Park
Approximate distance covered and estimated travel time: 100 km, 2-3 hours.
We start to drive to Khustai Nuruu National Park, a stunning natural area located in the mountain ranges of Khustai. Our trek leads us here to the rich wildlife of Khustai Nuruu for observing the world famous Przewalski wild horses, recently re-introduced back to Mongolia, birds and other animals. The Khustai Nuruu National Park was created by the Mongolian and Netherlands Governments for assisting in the conservation of the wild horses in Mongolia. Approximate trekking time is 4 hours. Day 3. Khugnu Khaan Mountain
Approximate distance covered and estimated travel time: 180 km, 3-4 hours.
Travel to Khugnu Khaan Mountain, a top attraction of central Mongolia, where fantastic views of up to 200 km await those who climb the 1970 m peak. Approximate trekking time is 4 hours. Overnight in ger camp. (B, L, D)

Day 4. Tuvkhun Monastery
Approximate distance covered and estimated travel time: 150 km, 4-5 hours.
We continue our journey to Tuvkhun Monastery. The Monastery was built in 1651 by Saint Zanabazar for use as a meditation retreat. In the afternoon we make a 2 km trek up the tiny mountain path to the Tuvkhun monastery, which is located on a mountain 2,400m above sea level. Here we enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the scenery and visit the caves located around the monastery. Approximate trekking time is 4 hours. Overnight in ger camp. (B, L, D)

Day 5. Naiman Nuur Lake
From Tuvkhun Monastery we drive south in the direction of Naiman Nuur lake. Trekking through the high mountains of the Khangai range, we will see beautiful mountain canyons in Orkhon Valley. Approximate trekking time is 2 hours. Overnight in tent. (B, L, D)

Day 6. Naiman Nuur Lake
We have full day trekking in the Naiman Nuur Lake area. There are 8 lakes located 2200 meters above sea level and surrounded by magnificent high mountains covered by Larch forests. In some areas we will see extinct volcanic craters creating breathtaking and alien images of this natural oasis. Approximate trekking time is 6 hours. Overnight in tent. (B, L, D)

Day 7. Orkhon Waterfall
Today is the day to explore the picturesque Orkhon waterfall which is situated on the Orkhon river, Mongolia’s longest river at 1120 km. The local name of the waterfall is Ulaan Tsutgalan and the height is 24 m. The waterfall was formed by a unique combination of volcanic eruptions and earthquakes about 20000 years ago. The water level of the waterfall fluctuates with the rainfall. Approximate trekking time is 4 hours. Overnight in tent. (B, L, D)

Day 8. Ruins of 12th Century Capital City Karakorum
Approximate distance covered and estimated travel time: 145 km, 5-6 hours.
Travel to Karakorum, ancient capital city of Great Mongolian Empire. Karakorum was established in the Valley of Orkhon River in 1220. It was one of the stops along the legendary Silk Road for 140 years. We will visit the oldest Monastery Erdenezuu main treasure of Mongolian Buddhism. Erdenezuu Monastery was founded by Avtai Sain Khaan, a descendant of Genghis Khaan, on the ruins of Karakorum in 1586. Look around little town Karakorum and see historical tower on the hill. Overnight in ger camp. (B, L, D)

Day 9. Ulaanbaatar
Approximate distance covered and estimated travel time: 360 km, 5-6 hours.
We drive to Ulaanbaatar and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, we will visit some interesting museums including Winter Palace of the Bogd Khan. The remainder of the day is free for shopping or independent touring. In the evening we will attend a performance of an ensemble of Mongolian folk art. Overnight in hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 10. Departure
After long adventure together ends with your transfer to the airport or train station for your departure. (B)
