Tour itinerary
Day 1. Ulaanbaatar
Arrival in Ulaanbaatar, transfer to the hotel. City tour including Sukhbaatar square a central point of Ulaanbaatar, Zaisan hill with panoramic view of whole city and Gandan monastery, the largest monastery in the country. After lunch at the restaurant in UB will be excursion to the Natural history museum where the biggest dinosaur skeletons in the world and the fossilized skeletons of dinosaurs found in Gobi Desert are kept intact. Welcome dinner in one of the finest restaurants in UB. Overnight in hotel.
Day 2. Huvsgul National Park
Flight to Murun, Huvsgul province. Drive to Huvsgul Lake, the deepest and purest lake in Mongolia. Near Huvsgul lake are found the Tsaatan ethnic people. These enigmatic people herd reindeer not only for their antlers, a lucrative medicinal material, but as well for their milk and meat. Reach Huvsgul Lake. Overnight in ger camp.
Day 3-4. Relax & Visit Tsaatan family
This day you will have the opportunity to boat, hike, or horse trek to the lakeside and mountains for exploring and taking pictures of the flora and fauna of the Huvsgul lake area. Visit a Tsaatan nomadic family and experience their daily life. Overnight in ger camp.
Day 5. Ulaanbaatar
Flight back to Ulaanbaatar. Lunch at the restaurant in UB. After lunch visit the Bogd Khan Palace Museum and the National history museum. In the evening, enjoy a performance of Mongolian folk art. Overnight in hotel.
Day 6. Departure back Mongolia
After breakfast transfer to departure
