Instant Purchase Airfare or Package: Full payment
Payment can be made by bank transfer, international money transfer services, or VISA and MasterCard.

Changes
Changes of purchased tickets including a name change on an airline reservation, requires full cancellation and rebooking will be subject to full cancellation fees. The cost of any changes or additions will be subject to airline policy. Specific fees and policies may vary by airline.

Cancellation
Only after your booking is confirmed will our cancellation policy apply. Your booking is confirmed when we advise reservations are available and you secure your reservations by arranging a money transfer or providing us with your credit card information.  Airfares are refundable in accordance with the policy of the airlines being used, subject to a USD50 handling charge.  Cancellations are only accepted in writing.
Contact Information
Passengers are responsible to ensure that Visit Mongolia has the correctly spelled name, address, phone number, email and fax data for all passengers. Names printed on the invoice must exactly match the first and last name written in their passport. Visit Mongolia will not be responsible for passengers who do not receive documents due to inaccurate information.

Valuable and fragile items
Please carry your travel documents, medications, valuables and fragile items in your carry-on baggage.Visit Mongolia shall not be responsible for any loss or damage of valuable or fragile items.

Airport Taxes & Fees
You should check whether the ticket fee includes airport tax. If it is not included, and if required by the airport, you must pay the tax to the cashier of "Airport departure tax section".  For your information an airport tax is included in Mongolia for international flights at a cost of 15,500 Mongolian tugrugs (USD12.50).

Checked in Baggage Allowance (Mongolia International Flights)
Mongolian international flights have a baggage allowance for checked baggage of 20-40 kg for first class, 15-30 kg for business class, and 10-20 kg for economy class.

Checked in Baggage Allowance (Mongolia Domestic Flights)
Mongolian domestic flights have a baggage limit of 10 kg.  Additional charges vary based on flight destination.  Airlines charge a fee of USD1 per kg to the Gobi and Central Provinces and USD2 to the west for excess baggage.

Passports and Visas
Clients are responsible for ensuring that they have the proper travel documents and must check with the respective consulate or visa agency to determine whether any visas or passports are required. Passports are required to be valid for at least 6 months after the date of travel. You can obtain visas from the Mongolian embassy or consulate in your country using our tour confirmation letter after the booking deposit is received. If there is no Mongolian embassy or consulate in your country, one month-long visas can be obtained on the spot once you arrive at the airport or railway station in Ulaanbaatar. You will need an official confirmation letter from Visit Mongolia if you choose to do this. Please check our page for visa information.
