Tour itinerary
Day 1. Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and City tour
Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and transfer to hotel. City tour including Sukhbaatar square a central point of Ulaanbaatar city, Zaisan hill with panoramic view of whole city and Gandan monastery with its gold plated 26 m Bodhisattva statue decorated with precious stones. Visit the Museum of Natural History. Overnight in hotel.
Day 2. Drive to Erdenezuu Monastery
Drive to Karakorum, the 13th century capital of the Mongolian Empire. Visit to Erdene Zuu monastery of 16th century and ruins of ancient Karakorum. Overnight in ger at tourist camp.
Day 3 Drive to Ugii lake
After breakfast at the camp drive to Ugii Lake . Ugii Lake (altitude
1387 m; surface area—25 sq. km) is known for its rich diversity
of bird and fish life. Among the fish found here are by pike,
catfish, and bars chasten. Overnight in ger at tourist camp.
Day 4. Night fishing
Fishing in Ugii lake until noon and drive to Tsetserleg, the center of Arkhangai province (122 kms). Fishing on the way on Orkhon and Tamir river. Night fishing for Taimen. Overnight in tent.
Day 5-7. Fishing
Reach Tsetserleg. Drive to Chuluut river (170kms). Fishing on the way in Chuluut and North Tamir river forth and back for 60 km. Overnight in tent.
Day 8. Drive to UB
Drive back to Ulaanbaatar (655kms). Stay overnight on the way in tent.
Day 9. Ulaanbaatar
Continue driving to Ulaanbaatar. Reach UB in the late evening. Overnight in hotel.
Day 10. Departure Mongolia
Transfer to airport for return fligh.
