GOBI DISCOVERY KHONGOR CAMP
Khongor tourist camp is situated near the Khongor sand dunes and next to the river Khongor in the Strictly Protected Area in the Cobi Gurvansaikhan National Park.
Location
Khongor tourist camp is located in the Umnugobi province about 720 kilometers from Ulaanbaatar and about 180 kilometers from Cobi ger camp.
Capacity
The camp offers 40 fully furnished gers, which can accommodate up to 120 guests per night.

Area Attractions
The Khongoryn Els are some of the largest and most spectacular sand dunes in Mongolia. Also known as the duut mankhan (singing dunes), they are up to 800m high, 12km wide and about 100km long. The largest dunes are at the north-west corner of the range. The views of the desert from the top are wonderful. The Khongor river flows along the sand dunes and gives birth to îasis.
